A wonderful visit today from Elizabeth Leehay and her incredible students for a practice audition! It was a very well practiced time. All students stand out with a great tone, intonation, musicality and excellent rhythm!

🎶 Congratulations to Yulia Berry's 13 year old student from California on successfully passing her audition and winning a placement in the California Youth Symphony Orchestra! 👏👏🎉🎉🎉

She initially began playing flute at 7 years old with Yulia Berry in Boston before moving to California 2 years later. After some time, she returned to Yulia Berry and began taking weekly online lessons for almost 2 years.

🎶 This year she also won a placement in Advanced Flute Choir of the San Jose Youth Symphony, 2022. 

🎶 Last year, being 12 years old and after one year of online lessons she won First place in the category "JUNIOR FLUTE, YOUNG PRODIGY" in the US International Open Music Competition, 2021
